Mental retardation, X-linked 68 (medical condition)

A rare form of mental retardation inherited in a X-linked manner. It occurs as a result of a defect in the FACL4 gene on chromosome Xq22.3. Female carriers may be asymptomatic or suffer varying degrees of mental retardation. See also Mental retardation, X-linked, 63
