Metagonimiasis (medical condition)

Infection with a parasitic intestinal fluke called Metagonimus yokogawa. Infection usually occurs when eating undercooked or salted fish which are infected with the parasite. It is most common in the Far East, Siberia, Israel and Spain. See also Metagonimiasis
