Mitral valve regurgitation, familial, autosomal dominant (medical condition)

A form of congenital heart disease where an abnormal heart valve (mitral valve) fails to close properly and allows some blood to leak through. The severity of the symptoms is determined by the degree of the defect. See also Mitral valve prolapse, familial, autosomal dominant
