NF-kappa B essential modulator (NEMO) mutation with immunodeficiency (medical condition)

A very rare form of immunodeficiency caused by a mutation of the NEMO (NF-kappa-B essential modulator) gene on chromosome Xq28. The immunodeficiency causes sufferers to develop pus-forming bacterial infections early in life and as they get older, they tend to become susceptible to mycobacterial infections.
