Tetrasomy of the short arm of chromosome 12 associated with craniofacial abnormalities with coarse facies, growth and mental deficiency, slow growing hair, and other abnormalities. The adult phenotype is marked mainly by epilepsy, macroglossia, coarse facies, and severe mental retardation.
