[TA] cutaneous muscle of hand; origin, ulnar side of central portion of the palmar aponeurosis; insertion, skin of ulnar side of hand; action, wrinkles skin on medial side of palm; nerve supply, ulnar. SYN: musculus palmaris brevis [TA], short palmar muscle.
