Reactive angioendotheliomatosis (medical condition)

A rare benign disorder of the blood vessels in the skin involving excessive growth of cells lining the inside of blood vessels. The growths can eventually block of the blood vessel and cause localized tissue death or necrosis. It can be associated with conditions such as systemic infections and dysglobulinemia. The lesions can occur anywhere on the skin and can lead to skin ulceration in serious cases. See also Reactive angioendotheliomatosis
