Telangiectasia follicularis annulata (medical condition)

A skin disease involving purplish atrophic skin lesions that occur on the lower legs. The condition starts as a skin eruption with ring-shaped inflamed, dilated blood capillaries which clot, rupture and bleed. The lesion becomes purplish, yellow or brown and may have darker spots on it. One or more lesion may occur and may persist without changing for months or even years. Sometimes the lesion recur in the same spot. See also Majocchi disease
