Disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis (medical condition)

A type of inherited skin spot that develops on exposure to sun. The spots start as reddish-brown skin bumps which gradually enlarge and become lighter in the middle with a dark rim. The scaly lesions tend to affect mainly the lower arms and legs. Type 2 is caused by a mutation on chromosome 15q25.1-q26.1. See also Porokeratosis, disseminated superficial actinic 2
