Frohlich's syndrome

A disorder affecting adolescent boys caused by hypothalamic malfunction or a tumor in the anterior pituitary gland. Characteristics include genital hypoplasia and development of female secondary sex characteristics as well symptoms such as low or reduced body temperature, blood pressure and blood glucose levels. Also called adiposogenital syndrome or adiposogenital dystrophy.
