Hazardous and Noxious Substances Convention

(HNS Convention)Convention drawn up by the International Maritime Organisation in May 1996. The two-tier convention provides compensation for loss or damage resulting from pollution, fire or explosion threatened or caused by hazardous and noxious substances.
