Meningoencephalitis caused by Naegleria fowleri (medical condition)
A relatively rare but serious infectious disease caused by Naegleria fowleri which is a type of free-living amoeba that can be found in warm fresh water and damp soil. The incubation period is from a few days to a week. See also Primary amebic meningoencephalitis
