Neurofibromatosis, type II, mixed central and peripheral (medical condition)

A rare genetic disorder characterized by areas of increased and decreased skin pigmentation and the development of many non-cancerous nerve and skin tumors some of which may eventually become malignant. The skin tumors tend to develop characteristically on the palms of the hands. See also Neurofibromatosis type 3A
