Craniopharyngiomas (WHO grade I) are benign, partly cystic, epithelial tumors of the sellar region, presumably derived from Rathke pouch epithelium. They affect mainly children and young adults. There are two clinicopathological forms: Adamantinomatous Craniopharyngioma and Papillary Craniopharyngioma.
