The total volume of the appliance is determined from exterior dimensions and is to include fan compartments and burner vestibules, when used. When the actual ceiling height of a room is greater than 2.44 m (8 ft), the volume of a room is figured on the basis of a ceiling height of 2.44 m (8 ft).
