Hedlinger syndrome (medical condition)

A rare malignancy (carcinoid tumor) characterized by slow-growing tumors that can occur in the bowel, stomach and/or pancreas and may then metastasize to the lungs, liver and ovaries. These tumors secret serotonin and other chemicals. See also Carcinoid syndrome
