Cardiomyopathy, familial hypertrophic, 2 (medical condition)

An inherited condition characterized by increased thickness of the wall of the heart ventricle which affects the hearts function. Type 2 is caused by a defect in the troponin-T2 gene on chromosome 1q. See also Familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy 2
