(ke´mәl) compression fracture of a vertebra, with symptoms occurring a few weeks after injury, including spinal pain, intercostal neuralgia, motor disturbances of the lower limbs, and kyphosis that is painful on pressure and easily reduced by extension. Called also post-traumatic spondylitis .
