Osteofibrous dysplasia (medical condition)

A bone development abnormality that can occur in one or more bones. The bone develops tumor-like growths in bones where normal bone is replaced by fibrous tissue. It can occur as a single lesion or in multiples. Malignancy can occur but is rare. Symptoms are determined by the location and extent of the abnormality. See also Fibrous dysplasia of bone
